Playing nice together

What a goof...I point the camera and she will only look at me with her eyes closed!

As I am taking this picture she is saying, "Mommy I have to go pee pee." Notice her leg!

Army

This morning I dropped John off at the recruiter station and he is on his was to Ft Lee for a week of filling out paper work and then next week he will be at Ft Benning for boot camp. He will be gone through the end of July. I will keep you posted as I hear from him. Thanks for your prayers during this time!

Busy last couple weeks!

We have had a busy last few weeks trying to get everything together for John to leave. Grandpa came into town for a visit 3 weeks ago. We have a lot of fun, but I had no batteries in my camera so no pictures of the girls and Grandpa together :( (I could kick myself)
The next weekend Nanna came into town and Aunt Judy (grandpa's sister) came to visit on Saturday. The girls and I had never met Judy so it was fun to get to meet her. We had a lot of fun. John and I were also able to get away on Friday night just the two of us which we hadn't done in about 3 years! Thanks Nanna for watching the girls :)

The army

Our family is starting on a new adventure together. We went to Liberty, worked as RD's and then have been working on a church plant (Hope Aglow Fellowship Church). For the past few months John felt that it might be time to do something else. He was called to start this church, but didn't feel like he was called to be a pastor. He felt like he had different gifts and strengths that could be used elsewhere. After much prayer and advice of mentors, John has joined the army. For those of you who know him, this just fits. He has always wanted to join the army and it was just never the right time until now. I am excited about what God has in store for us and where we will go. I am trusting him through the transition and selling our home. He leaves for boot camp on March 31st. The girls and I will not see him until the middle of July for his graduation. He then will have a couple more weeks of airbourne school. After that we will be moving to be with him where ever they tell us to go. As of now this is the plan. I am sure things will change....more to come soon.

Summer weather for a few days..

A few days after we had about 10 inches of snow it was 80 degrees outside. We took advantage of the great weather and went to the park. The girls had a blast!!! We walked, ran and climbed the jungle gym. They were tired and took great naps after that. I am looking foward to more nice days at the park. Here are a few pictures from the park and outside in the back yard....

Snow day

Anna loves playing in the snow!!! I have no pictures of Eliza because she does NOT like playing in the snow. She touched the snow with her hands and started screaming. Here are just a few of the pictures I took!!
